Double Driver 4.0 Alpha
For testing purpose only.

Requirement:
- Tested on Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (32-bit)
- Other Windows versions might work (please do test)

What's new:
- New engine: faster, removed dependencies (7-zip32.dll and msvbvm60.dll)
- New console (command-line) application (support command and switches)
- New graphical user interface (GUI) in all dialogs
- Ability to back-up non-live/non-booting Windows drivers

Alpha release:
Download:
- N/A (the beta version is released)

Known issue:
- missing/skipped catalog files (*.cat)
- missing path delimiter in target folder for some drivers that place some source files in sub folder (x32, x64, etc)

- You can try it on other Windows versions and please report if it worked or not.

I like what I see so far. It worked well in windows 7 64 bit to find an old XP drive.
Can we have the possibilty to try and restore to an offline drive as well as backup from the offline drive?

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately I think it's impossible to restore to an offline drive.

That is probably true. I don't know the process that you use to collect them from an offline drive, or that you use to restore them to the current operating system. I do know, however, that you can update drivers through the registry of an offline drive if you do it properly.
